Installing picocells is a lot easier than a typical macro or micro network. But you still need to get it right. We can support your installation plans and processes or take on specific tasks or even the entire installation job, including:
BSC installation and commissioning
Starting from an on-site survey we gather accurate information about the physical requirements of the BSC location in the switch room including rack space, cabling and power requirements to ensure that all the correct equipment and connections are available for the installation. Then we install and commission the BSC integrating it with your MSC and SGSN
OMC-R installation and commissioning
Working with you to specify and select the correct servers needed for your network we install and commission the OMC-R to give your NOC complete visibility and control over the nanoGSM system.
BTS installations
In order to transfer knowledge and skills for deploying the nanoBTS in a range of different locations, we can work alongside your local teams or contactors for a number of initial BTS installations. Starting with a survey of the customer’s site using the beacon mode in the nanoBTS, we deliver measurement based planning which ensures a suitable location and connection. We then work with your teams to deliver an optimal nanoBTS installation.
OSS System integration
We provide consultancy and training to support the integration of nanoGSM into the different OSS systems needed, including data warehouse, fault management and performance monitoring.
