We use cookies on our website to store a visitor's login status to our resources during one visit to our site and in order to eliminate the need for the visitor to log into the site on every visit. The cookie is used for the sole purpose of maintaining login status and is not used for any other purposes.

The [hash] cookie is an encrypted form of the [id] cookie. On page load, we re-encrypt the [id] and check it against the [hash] in order to test whether the cookie is a valid login cookie. If it is, then visitor is logged into the site.
