23-Aug-2010: CM Build and Release Team Manager
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £55,000
We are looking for a CM Build and Release Team Manager to run the Configuration Management Team at our Head Office in Cambourne.
The succesful candidate will provide vision for the long term stratergy of the CM Team, developing the exisiting structure and processes with the focus on really driving this key area of the business as they work with rapildy changing software development.
23-Aug-2010: 3G Platform Engineer- AC
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £45,000
This role is responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of the 3G Highly Available RNC (Access Controller) Platform. This role involves Linux kernel development; applications build environment maintenance and hardware configuration. This role may require overseas travel to support customer trials and integration.
We are happy to consider engineers with a Linux support background who wish to transition into a development role.
23-Aug-2010: 2G System Test Engineer
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £40,000
This role will be involved with all System Test activities within ip.access, focusing on executing existing Test Procedures, writing test plans for new features, CN/Handset IOT testing, driving Load, Stress and Soak Rig environments and ensuring a quality product delivery to our customers.
The position is part of an established team responsible for feature and system testing of a range of GSM products for IP based in-building (pico-cell) applications, including Base Stations, Base Station Controllers, Network Management Systems for 2G (Rel99/Rel5), GSM/GPRS and EDGE systems.
23-Aug-2010: Project Manager- Product Assurance Team
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £55,000
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager within the Product Assurance area of ip.access. The overall prupose of the role is to plan and govern the Product Assurance resources in conjunction with and on behalf of the Head of Department Product Assurance.
All critical activities need to be identified, required resources made available for each activity and these then need to be planned and applied in the most efficient and effective manner.
The post-holder will be expected to police the end to end product development processes through to customer release. They will be expected to communicate and deal with people at all levels in ip.access and, as required, with suppliers
and the customer community.
23-Aug-2010: Platform Engineer- AP
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Contract Position, Daily rate.
Ip.access is looking to enhance its automated test system and needs an engineer to manage and enhance the in-house developed ‘Test Automation Framework (TAF)’.
Existing proof of concept systems have been pulled together to demonstrate control of COTS hardware (e.g. Signal Generators, Spectrum Analysers) and ip.access’s own Access Point products – this needs to be driven forward to enable daily testing of all candidate SW builds on a variety of HW platforms.

Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £45,000
Working as part of the BTS team within the Enterprise Solutions Product Development department, this role is responsible for the maintenance and development activities of the nano-BTS product.
23-Aug-2010: Customer Support Team Leader
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £50,000
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, this role is responsible for leading the Customer Support team based in UK, Europe and Far East to provide technical GSM / GPRS and IP support for ip.access products to current and potential customers globally.
In addition to the team lead responsibilities; this role will include all technical support activities of a Customer Support Engineer role.
23-Aug-2010: Physical Layer Team Leader- AP
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Up to £50,000
Ip.access are currently developing their next generation of 3G Basestations that operate over an IP backhaul. We are working with the latest technology DSP processors (picoChip and iother platforms) to achieve a low-cost, high-volume product range.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and experienced engineer who can bring strong leadership qualities to our growing team.
23-Aug-2010: Software Engineer- Java
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Contract Positon, Daily Rate
This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Client-Server based configuration and monitoring systems for our Pico and Femtocell based cellular products. The role also includes integration, developing unit tests and assisting in the development of the OMCR architecture.
16-Aug-2010: Systems Engineer
Location: Cambourne, UK
Salary: Contract role, Daily Rate
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
This role is responsible for the system design and specification of a novel femtocell management system being developed by ip.access.
The role is to strengthen the overall Systems group specifically in the area of network management architectures and procedures.
23-Aug-2010: VP Product Development
Location: HQ Based in Cambourne but with travel to the US and India
Salary: Negotiable
The VP Product Development will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The role will be responsible for the execution of the delivery programmes, and for delivering key development activities to their strategic partners, on time, in budget and to quality. With a delivery team of 100+ based in Cambourne and the introduction of an off shore development facility in India, the role covers development teams across different continents, covering different time zones. The successful candidate must be comfortable working within a matrix reporting organisation delivering multiple complex software engineering projects.

You will be responsible for delivering HR projects, services and support to managers and staff across the organisation, in the UK, US, Europe and India. You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will manage a small team of HR, Facilities and general administration staff.
