At ip.access we offer opportunities to make an impact with the next generation of technology that we're building today. Here are a few insights into our team:

John, IT Manager

I joined ip.access in December 2003 as a Systems Administrator and in April 2006 I was promoted to IT Manager. The role of IT Manager has been a challenging role as the company grew significantly in the time I've been with them. The great thing about working at ip.access, without a doubt, is the smart, friendly people here. We have a wide variety of nationalities which makes lunchtime conversations engaging!

David, 3G Product Manager

I've been working in a Product Management role at ip.access for over 5 years. A lot has happened in the time I have been at ip.access - when I joined we were starting to deploy our first GSM products in our first customer's network, now the next generation 2.75G product is deployed around the world (including air and sea). I'm currently working on the 3G femtocell products - one of the hottest topics in the mobile telecoms industry. ip.access has a very open working environment (quite literally – with an open plan office) and attracts talented people. It's a good place to work with good rewards.

Beverly, Customer Support Engineer - USA

I have been in the mobile coms industry for a major part of my career and worked at T-Mobile for 9 years before joining ip.access in July 2008. I am a remote Customer Support Engineer based in the USA and I love my job. Even though ip.access has support teams very far apart in the UK and the USA, we all work together and it feels like I am in the UK with the rest of the team. The ip.access team is a close-knit group, everyone helps everyone out and the team is made up of hard working dedicated people. ip.access has a good strong team who all bring different skills to the table and this is what makes us so successful.

Mohit, System Test Team Leader

I started at ip.access 4 years ago as a System Test Engineer working on the nanoGSM product range. I am now a System Test Team Leader working on nanoGSM and 3G Oyster product range. The most exciting thing about working at ip.access is the variety of work – it is dynamic, challenging and on cutting edge technology. The day is never monotonous and the people are very supportive. It’s a team effort to put the most extraordinary products in the most demanding telecom market. With even more new products in the horizon, I am looking forward to the exciting times ahead as well.

Naresh, Software Engineer

I started my career at ip.access around 3 years ago as a contractor in product development, I was later appointed to a permanent role as a Software Engineer. I have a degree in Engineering in Electronics and Communications and prior to working for ip.access I was employed at Nokia Siemens Network. ip.access is a market leader in picocell and femtocell technologies. It is a great place to work, has a multicultural environment with a highly motivated team and plenty of potential for career development. Together with the challenging work environment there are good perks and recognition for what you do. It is exciting to be a part of the ip.access team and to work on the latest and emerging technologies.

Jason, BSC Platform Engineer

The thing I enjoy most about my 5 years of working here at ip.access is the people, I’ve made some great friends. I come into work never knowing what the day will bring and as a team we work together and support each other. I have had the privilege to design and develop a range of software and hardware solutions. Personally, I thrive on the multi-disciplinarily nature of the work I do. ip.access is a very forward thinking company and a lot of our solutions are leading-edge. We’re encouraged to aim for success and empowered to achieve just that!

Ksenija, Software Engineer Team Leader

I started work at ip.access 7.5 years ago as a Software Engineer. I have worked on many different projects and products during my time at ip.access – I started on 2G, have worked on BTS, BSC and MSC Simulator, and now I am working on 3G AC as a Software Team Leader. The products I have worked on are all very cutting edge technology which is an exciting place to be and the variety has been important for my professional development. I have learnt a lot at ip.access and have been able to keep up-to-date with emerging technology. The people I work with are highly skilled, friendly and interesting, which I thoroughly enjoy. I also really enjoy the work environment at ip.access as well as the teamwork that occurs. I feel challenged in my role here and this is very important to me.

Andreas, System Test Manager

I joined ip.access in 2004 as a System Test Engineer for the IPA nanoGSM product. I came from a voice over packet verification background and ip.access gave me the opportunity to adapt, implement and apply my experience to system test in the GSM/wireless area. I am now the System Test Manager at ip.access, a role which I enjoy. The System Test Team as well as the company itself consists of a mixed group of people from all kinds of different cultural and ethical backgrounds. I believe, it creates a really interesting team to work with and I enjoy working in such an environment. ip.access is a very dynamic company and the fast pace at which it is moving makes the work challenging and interesting. My job also allows me to travel to test facilities and/or customer sites located outside the UK, which I enjoy.

Neil, Systems Architect

I come from a technology consultancy background in communication systems and I joined ip.access in May 2000 because I wanted to work for a product company. When I started at ip.access I was the only Systems Architect but now I run a systems group of 8 people. I think the most important thing about the work environment is the people you work with and I thoroughly enjoy working with the ip.access team. The work I do is really interesting and I genuinely believe in our product and this is important too. I joined ip.access because of the product and then I got to know a team of highly motivated and skilled people - these two things combined are why I enjoy my job so much. It has been great to have been with ip.access for a while now and to watch it grow – I really enjoy being able to take a product from ground up and lead it through.

Catherine, Logistics Team leader

I joined ip.access in June 2003 as Operations Support Analyst in the operations customer support team. At ip.access you grow with the company, become a part of its changes and its success. I have evolved with the company developing new skills and widening my scope for further opportunity within the company. To me ip.access is about its people and its customers, using training to improve yourself and also being a personal friend.
I was Logistics Team Leader when I last wrote on here which involved extending my support analyst role into a wider part of the ESBU team, working with many parts of the company whilst maintaining interaction with our customers.
I have now been given the opportunity to progress once again, this time as Technical Author, becoming a part of the Technical Publications Team for both the 2G and 3G parts of the business.  This change of position has allowed my knowledge to extend as well as my interaction with other parts of ipaccess.
To me working at ip.access is like being part of one large team, I said this previously and I still maintain it after moving roles and feeling a little the new person.  ipaccess still holds many more opportunities for me in the coming years and is a place that makes me feel a sense to achieve is not beyond possibility.
