Femtocells to prove a key talking point in 2010

The year 2010 should see more discussion concerning the subject of femtocells, one writer has highlighted.
Writing in an article for Trusted Reviews, Gordon Kelly has noted some of the developments that are currently taking place within the global femtocell sector.
Mr Kelly has pointed out the nine commercial femtocell deployments which are currently being made available by mobile network operators, with the technology also talked about at length during the recent Mobile World Congress 2010 event.
In his Trusted Reviews piece, the commentator stated: "At present 'femtocell' is not a phrase that is overly common but expect it to become a major topic of conversation over the next 12 months".
Meanwhile, some of the benefits offered by Vodafone's Sure Signal device, which is currently available in the UK, have been outlined by Stuart Miles who has written a review of the product for the Pocket-lint website.
